We Highly encourage recycling. If you want to participate in the recycling program you must prepare your recycling items as listed below in order to be collected as recycling.
All Items can be put in the bin together except as noted below.
FLATTENED CLEAN BROWN
CORRUGATED CARDBOARD ONLY!
No Pizza boxes, cereal boxes egg cartons, or frozen food packaging.
Place stack under the recycle bin.
Place your rinsed glass containers into a paper bag
and place in the recycling bin. Do not include the caps or lids.
Place paper bag full of bottles on top of the bin.
Newspapers, Magazines and office
papers only.
Paper must be clean paper!
Place in recycle bin.
Plastics #1 and #2 only
No lids! Rinsed and clean! No yogurt, butter, or
cottage cheese containers.
No Plastic Bags!
Place in recycle bin.
Soda cans and food cans.
Empty and rinse all cans. No lids
No food or liquid residue.
Place in recycle bin.
USED MOTOR OIL
PUT IN HEAVY PLASTIC CONTAINER.
Place beside your recycle bin being careful not to contaminate the
cardboard or paper products.
NO FOOD SCRAPS IN THE RECYCLE BINS!
You can toss them in the normal trash or you can
compost them at home. Go to the EPA site to learn
